By using Albavo you accept what follows. The text is short and written to be read.
1. What Albavo is
Albavo is a decision-support tool for Etsy sellers: it measures how competitive a keyword is, scores the tags on a listing, checks a listing against Etsy's own listing guidelines, and keeps a history of those measurements.
Albavo is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Etsy. "Etsy" is a registered trademark of its owner, referred to here only to describe the marketplace concerned.
2. Access to the service
Access is granted by connecting your Etsy account. You are responsible for what is done from your session. You may withdraw the authorisation given to Albavo at any time from your Etsy account settings.
You must use Albavo only to look at data concerning your own activity, or public marketplace information.
3. What the service does not guarantee
This is the most important section of this page.
- No sales or search-ranking outcome is guaranteed. How Etsy ranks listings is entirely theirs and is not public. Albavo measures what is observable and explains it; it promises no position, no visits and no sales.
- The figures shown are dated measurements, not guarantees. They reflect the state of the data at the time of reading. Markets move; yesterday's measurement may no longer describe today, which is why Albavo always shows the date.
- When a value does not exist, it is not replaced by an estimate. Albavo shows "N/A". This is a deliberate choice: an invented figure would be more harmful than an empty box.
- The service depends on Etsy. If Etsy changes or withdraws access to its data, some or all features may stop working without notice.
4. Your obligations
- Do not attempt to bypass the technical limits of the service, nor automate its use beyond normal usage.
- Do not use Albavo for any unlawful activity, nor to infringe the rights of a third party.
- In your own use of Etsy, comply with Etsy's own terms.
5. Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability. It may be interrupted for maintenance, may evolve, and features may be changed or withdrawn.
Access is free today. Paid plans may be introduced; if so, pricing will be presented clearly before any payment, and current free usage will never become chargeable retroactively.
6. Suspension
Access may be suspended in case of manifestly abusive use, attempts to circumvent limits, or interference with the proper working of the service for other users.
7. Liability
Albavo is a decision-support tool. The commercial decisions you take from its indications are yours. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for lost profit, lost visibility or any indirect damage arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.
8. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction.
10. Publisher, host and contact
Albavo is published by a private individual, on a non-professional basis. Under article 6-III-2 of the French Act on confidence in the digital economy, the publisher's identity has been given to the hosting provider, whose details appear below.
